Africa Cup of Nations at WCB: Ghana vs Guinea LiveBlog

By: Daryl | January 19th, 2008

Africa Cup of Nations logoThe Africa Cup of Nations kicks off tomorrow, and there’ll be updates here on The Offside from now until the last ball is kicked. But if you want to follow along closely then visit our sister site World Cup Blog where we’ll be following the tournament so closely we’ll probably end up with a restraining order from Michael Essien.

We’re so excited (and we just can’t hide it) that we’ve put together an info filled team preview for each of the 16 nations, and will be LiveBlogging several of the bigger games.

The big kick off is 5pm local time in Accra (which is 5pm GMT, 12 noon US Eastern, 9am US Pacific) when host nation Ghana takes on Guinea in Group A. If you’re so inclined, stop by and visit our LiveBlog of Ghana vs Guinea, which should get going one hour before kick off.

I read the earlier post on this, but it didn’t seem to quite resolve it, so I was wondering if anyone knew the best place to watch this online in the U.S.?

Tom, try telesud.com or JumpTV.com. (Same service provider and prices.)

I had all kinds of problems registering, but I finally got in today (with my second e-mail address. I’ve used JumpTV to watch Euro qualifiers and found them very reliable.

‘Hani Wodzo’ is Ghananian for ‘Lets Dance.’ Didn’t those boys dance especially after Muntari’s late late winner.
