In this case, Yokohama Marinos keeper Hiroki Iikura is especially generous, ushering in Gamba Osaka’s goal with a free ball and the appropriate arm motion. Hashimoto Hideo thanks him graciously with a shit-eatin’ grin.
And of course you know how the story goes: Iikura conceded a silly, silly goal, Yokohama Marinos lose 2-1. Let this be a lesson to the young’uns: the football gods give no quarter to brain lapses.
