Grace & Fists Down Under

By: The Offside | August 20th, 2012

The preceding “brawl” (exceedingly liberal use of the term) is from a friendly in Australia between Wellington and Newcastle. The foul which sparked the ruckus was the result of a free ball via the touch of a statue, and I don’t quite know who the hell is in the wrong. Both are some margin from graceful, and it’s just not pretty.

What I’m saying is this needs to happen more, particularly in friendlies.
