    The Furbizia reading was truly great. Shoulda done a full write up on it, me thinks :P
    On top of what they said, the diving, the arguing with the ref and whatnot is all part of it as well. It plants a seed of doubt in the ref or linesman's mind, everyone knows they aren't going to change their call, but maybe you get a make up call on a fluff challenge later in the game, or maybe you're onside when you were really off. Things like this are why Italians have a whole different dimension to the football they play.
