Well, that reception isn’t so great if you remember what sort of reception Karel Poborski got when he returned to Old Trafford with Sparta Prague (he got himself sent off, and the crowd gave him a triumphant standing ovation as he left the field). And then you consider that he was only at United for a season or so. The fact that United were destroying their opposition on each occasion may have had a little to do with it.
