Another Goal for The Great Freddy

By: Martha | November 26th, 2007

Granted, the goal was entirely unimpressive and found the back of the net only because the opposing keeper was having a shocker, but Freddy Adu scored again for Benfica yesterday, his second goal in the last three matches. Adu came on for Nuno Gomes with an hour gone and was on the pitch when his club took the lead, putting the game away himself deep into injury time. Oh, and that win means Benfica — currently second in the Portuguese league and preparing to host Manchester United Milan on Wednesday — haven’t lost in in the Liga in a calendar year.

Well, have you been thinking a lot about Manchester United lately? :P

It’s Milan they’re going to host, not Man Utd.
