Arsenal Ruin Jens Lehmann’s Stuttgart Debut

By: Daryl | August 1st, 2008

Jens Lehmann left Arsenal for Stuttgart in a bit of a strop. I know Jens Lehmann does everything in a bit of a strop, but his Emirates exit was particularly grumpy. So how could Arsenal make Mad Jens even madder? By scoring all over him on his Stuttgart debut of course.

It briefly looked like Lehmann would get some revenge when his old enemy Manuel Almunia was beaten by Yildiray Basturk to give Stuttgart a 1-0 lead, but young Carlos Vela, Nicklas Bendtner and Jack (name to remember) Wilshere all put the ball past old man Lehmann (who’s much more than twice 16 year old Wilshere’s age) to give Arsenal a 3-1 win, and Lehmann something else to be miserable about.

Basturk didn’t beat Almunia, Almunia was subbed at halftime and Fabianski came on. As you can see, the Arsenal goalkeeper that conceded the goal was number 21 (Fabianski) not number 1 (Almunia)

This is the same petulant little boy keeper, that if he doesn’t play thows his toys out of the cot.

I don’t really know why he thinks he is as good as he thinks he is.

He is still bitching about euro 2008 … OH! its the refs fault! Oh! how dare Wenger sub me for Almunia.

The only thing this entity has proved that he has no class whatsoever. Anybody who can slag off his team, nationally or internationally shouldnt have the honour of wearing the shirt he was gifted.

Frankly, I don’t know why I’m wasting pressing keys on here for a person that doesnt deserve the air that he breathes.

Just go away quietly with your wife somewhere and leave football to the people that love it.

LOL, It seems people think Lehmann hates Arsenal, which isn’t the case. He’s full of class, and is one of the best Keepers of all time
