Champions League LiveBlogs

For those of you who have been kind enough to follow us here after our fun filled days at World Cup Blog, you’ll recall that we liveblogged all 64 matches this summer. We’ve got the permanent carpal tunnel syndrome to prove it.

While it would be impossible for me to keep up that pace all year round, I’ve decided that it is safe once again to resume the occasional liveblog, starting this week with a pair of Champions League games. I’ve chosen the Champions League because it is broadcast to all parts of this planet and it is also fairly easy to find online streams of the bigger matches. We’re also going to do this because it is a lot of fun and it gives me an excuse to watch football during my work day. So you’re welcome to join me this week by leaving your comments and thoughts while the matches happen. The scheduled matches are:

Tuesday: PSV Eindhoven vs. Liverpool
Wednesday: Manchester United vs. Celtic

The games commence at 19:45 GMT so do the math and figure out the kickoff time for your location. I look forward to further damaging my fingers and enjoying some good football matches with you. Cheers.
