Superpippo!
By: Martha | December 5th, 2007In yesterday’s 1-0 Champions League win over Celtic, AC Milan’s Pippo Inzaghi scored his 63rd goal in European matches, surpassing Bayern Munich legend Gerd Müller at the top of the UEFA scoring chart. It’s taken the man Sir Alex Ferguson once said was “born in an offside postion” 12 years and 98 matches to reach the mark — imagine how many he’d have if it wasn’t for those linesmen and their pesky flags.
