Contender For Worst Sitter Miss Of The Year

By: chris | December 18th, 2007

(0:44 second mark)

In a week which saw Jean-Calude Darcheville sheepishly put a ball which was nearly across the goal line over the bar, David Di Michele of Torino decided he’d have his go at worst sitter miss of the week, maybe the month, with a little help from buddy Alessandro Rosina. After Roma keeper Doni collided with an attacker and his defender, the goal was left wide open for Di Michele and Rosinaldo, who was rumbling towards the goal with him. They collided, the ball went way the hell somewhere else, and Torino was left with a draw when they were the much better team throughout 90 mins. It didn’t get them knocked out of Europe, but this miss is still pretty damn bad, and they surely could’ve used those 3 points as they spend all year trying to beat the drop.
