Deivid Is Clark Kent In Disguise

By: chris | April 2nd, 2008

Deivid has had an absolutely fantastic Champions League campaign, from his monster of a goal against Internazionale to the two late goals against Sevilla to force extra time, eventually taking a relatively shock victory into the quarter-finals. His entry today started off with a sublime finish, only it was into his own net, giving Chelsea an early 1-0 lead and the ever important away goal. After Kazim Kazim powered one past Carlo Cudicini to draw even, Deivid put on his Superman cape once again and rode in to save the day with a gorgeous goal from deep, and sending Fenerbahce to Stamford Bridge with a 2-1 lead. (Meaning Fenerbahce scored all three goals - ouch.)
