When venturing off into the twilight, Gennaro Gattuso took the road less traveled north from Milan: Switzerland. Though given its proximity, he probably could’ve taken a path or a slight clearing in the woods.

Anyway, it appears he is in the midst of some transition from footballer to referee, with his apprenticeship beginning in game recently. Which, let’s be honest, is the birth of two brilliant ideas: the player/referee (foolproof, that one), and Rino Gattuso as an official.
