The Week’s Best Goals from Europe

By: Bob | October 4th, 2006

It is hard to believe that there was a better goal scored last week than Robin van Persie’s wonder volley for Arsenal against Charlton, but that incredible strike only makes it to spot number two on this list of best goals of the week from Europe. The top goal is a nice one, but our vote still goes to van Persie’s blast.

I have to agree with you on the van Persie goal. Castro’s goal is good, but it doesn’t require as much skill and timing as van Persie’s volley.

Well. There could be five more goals to judge on ‘your tube’ by the end of the night… Chelsea Reserves beat Portsmouth Reserves 5-0 at Fratton Park. Salomon Kalou scored three and Scott (WHO IS THEO WALCOTT?) scored 2.
