Wonder Goals Emanating From Benelux

By: chris | March 22nd, 2008

Alright, at least the first two-thirds. Or maybe not; there may have been phenomenal goals being scored ad nauseam in Luxembourg today, we’d just never know. Up above in a 3-3 draw from Vitesse and NAC Breda (Defense in the Eredivisie? Nevah!), Rogier Molhoek of NAC Breda shows that he don’t need no teammates with a phenomenal individual effort.

Down below, in Belgium, Walter Baseggio of R.E. Mouscron takes the ball, moseys himself along and then uncorks one from distance. Didn’t matter, they lost 3-1 to Racing Genk, but at least it’s worthy of the highlight reels.

Now, if you have any wonder-strikes coming from Luxembourg we’d love to see them.
