Luca Toni Thanks His Burglars

By: chris | February 20th, 2008

lcatoni-edit.jpgEarlier in the week we reported that Luca Toni had eschewed words as a response to his house being burgled and made his feelings known with a hat trick against Hannover 96 later in the day. Well Luca has finally decided to speak about the matter, and it’s not the response one would expect. Instead of being angry, Luca has decided to “thank” the “good” and “merciful” bandits. Now we definitely know it was German referees.

“They took a couple of Italy shirts I had, but apart from that I have got to say that they were very good to me” Toni said wryly.

“The house is still under construction so there was not a lot in it, but they were good thieves who showed some mercy.”

So if you want to steal shit from Luca Toni, that’s cool, just keep it light.
