Martin Lanig – Worst Teammate Ever

Poor Mario Gómez. The German striker had just scored Stuttgart’s consolation goal in the 5-1 cup defeat to Bayern Munich, and was doing the sad slow walk to the center circle that only consolation goalscorers know.

But Martin Lanig added an extra layer of misery by inflicting some testicle-pain on his goalscoring teammate, instantly making Lanig the man we’d all least like to have on our team.

  was that Lanig who made the initial header? maybe he didn’t like Gomez poaching ‘his’ goal (but you could see the man at the far post probably had it covered).
