Moestafa El Kabir Will Slide Tackle Anything. Even a Camera.

Got to love 101GreatGoals. They don’t find just goals, they also find random stuff like the video you see above.

The man you see slide tackling the camera at pace is 20 year old Moroccan born striker Moestafa El Kabir, while playing for Dutch Eredivisie team NEC Nijmegen against Utrecht last Wednesday.

It seems El Kabir was trying to rescue the ball before it went our for a throw, but instead he scythes down the camera tripod. Very much a striker’s tackle if you ask me.

As Brooks at Dirty Tackle helpfully points out, cameras “rarely defend themselves from an oncoming attack”. So down it goes. Brilliantly, we get to see the tackle first from the camera’s perspective, and then from a separate camera which shows the whole thing.
