Nathan Rutjes: The Best Hair in World Football.

And by best we mean, of course, worst. Nathan’s a 25 year old midfielder for Sparta Rotterdam with questionable decision making abilities. And with that severe lack, Nathan has managed to concoct what has to be one of the world’s first* shaved, spiked mullets.

Fortunately for the Eredivisie viewing public, Nathan doesn’t play much – just 38 games in 5 years. Unfortunately for that same demographic, he’s playing more often these days. Protests imminent.

* – Outside of the Alabama/Mississippi area.

And with so many hairdids combined into one, Nathan’s a man of versatility. It looks particularly dirty when wet or with the slight flare-up at the back. The man could have a mean rat-tail, should he so choose. With a little vision, perhaps even a mullet-hawk. The possibilities are endless.

Nathan also has a YouTuber in which he does absolutely nothing worthy of a YouTuber, but it has pics. Oh, does it have pics.

  I live in the dirty heart of darkest Appalachia. In West Virginia, in all its backwoods, hillbilly glory. No one, I mean no one, I’ve ever seen has hair near that. Even the inbred meth heads have more sense. In this hairstyle, I see only Eurotrash.

  I’m from MS. This is terrible. It’s unfair to say AL/MS has hair like this. It’s not the late 80’s anymore.

  Only Europeans would dream of having something like this in the public spotlight. Similar hairdos have occurred amongst players before. Let’s think Fernando Torres first if we want to talk about terrible hair styles and mullets.

  Let’s get real.

  @ Joe Lumping Torres in with this guy is a bit unfair.

  I went to college in Ky and saw a good amount of hair like this in one way or another. It’s all bad.
