Chris Kirkland Gets Involuntarily Facepalmed

This one’s going to make the news a bit: a fan ran onto the pitch during the Yorkshire derby and hit Sheffield Wednesday keeper Chris Kirkland in the face directly after he let in a goal. Perhaps more ridiculous than the assault is that they couldn’t immediately find the fan, and apparently haven’t yet.

Once again: creative punishments need to be imposed by regulatory bodies.
