Maradona’s autobiography has been out for years.

Adam I could be wrong, but I’m under the impression there’s a new one out, because I’ve seen several new reviews over the past few days. That said, I suppose several people could have just discovered it and written about it …

According to Wikipedia, which is always right, the English translation came out in 2007.

Do you realize that the Wayne Rooney book was supposed to contain details about, among other things, “the PVC-clad grandmother known to her clients as the Auld Slapper”? Shouldn’t we be allowed to read this? Isn’t there a public right to know?

Brian, I don’t think I’m alone in praising anything that protects me from having to think about Wayne Rooney naked. (Ah, SHIT. Too late.)

Martha, I take your point. *shudder* But if suffering is what’s necessary to learn the backstory of the Auld Slapper, then suffering is what I shall do.

Speaking of stadiums and a bit off topic the stadium in Arizona which is hosting this weekend’s superbowl is supposed to be in the top ten in the world.

I bought the Maradona book almost a year ago. I think it came out in Spanish at least 4 or 5 years ago, judging from the players listed at the end and the events he mentions, but it may have been published in English in the last year or two, but it isn’t new. It is good, but laughably paranoid in some places, and there is an unwanted picture of “el 10″ naked.

Adam, you can’t just drop in a little fact like Maradona naked without details. Are we talking young Diego or old Diego? Arty, or trashy? A lot is riding on your response.
