A Name to Remember: Danny Shittu

Even with the copious amounts of emails we receive from the country offering us incredible business investment opportunities, we have no idea what it is like to grow up in Nigeria. But if you believe in the idea that kids are pretty much the same everywhere, you can bet that Watford’s Danny Shittu received, well, shit for his last name.

Shittu joins the newly promoted Watford after playing the better part of four seasons with Queens Park Rangers and after pulling out of a deal with Championship side West Brom at the last minute.

We look forward to hearing Shittu’s name a lot this year, especially from the stands by opposing supporters, and only hope that his play does not live up to his name.
