This was a big story for a while earlier this year. The two biggest tabloids in Britain, The Sun and the News of the World ran stories saying Ashley Cole was involved with another footballer and a DJ from a London radio station. Ashley denied everything.

At least Ashley’s getting some support from gays rights firebrand Peter Tatchell and his group Outrage!
Since the tabloids ran their story of Cole having a gay affair the Arsenal fans have been singing about it, but Tatchell says its now time to stop.

‘Bigotry has no place in football. Arsenal fans continue to abuse him about his sexuality. There is nothing wrong with a bit of banter by football fans. Much of it is clever, imaginative and very funny. Having moved to a rival club, Ashley Cole has to expect ridicule from Arsenal fans. But taunts involving racism or homophobia are a taunt too far.’

He’s a big boy Peter (no pun intended), I’m sure he’s willing to take plenty of banter and ridicule for the trucks loads of money he’s picking up every week.

I can’t see any mention about a certain Mr William ‘I hadn’t won any significant trophies before I came to Chelsea and then won TWO Premiership titles etc before I crossed the water, joined Emirates XI and now have injured my thigh so I cannot play against my old team-mates who have now become my enemies because of what I said in the newspapers, plus I dont like playing at full-back, but I enjoy playing in this position for my new club Arsenal otherwise known as Emirates XI at Cashburton Grove and I think now that Ashley Cole has made the better move than I have. But I did score some wonderful goals at Chelsea and really looked that I DID enjoy myself in all of those years!!!!”

Gallas not being playing at The Bridge on Sunday really makes me not wanna go to the game!!!
