Cesc Gets A TV Show

By: chris | April 22nd, 2008

I’m pretty disappointed in this, quite honestly. I saw the clip and thought to myself “ah, they’re going to do another ‘I’m on Setanta Sports’, but on Sky”. But that was a foolish thought because…

1. Cesc isn’t all that interesting.
2. Arsene would take over the whole thing and call Mourinho names during the entire show.
3. Nike Live has indicated it’s basically going to be just the most-hyped interview of all time.

Ah well. Still, it’ll be nice to get a look into the world of Cesc as he adds an Oscar to his list of most desired trophies. He’s no Vinnie Jones, though, is he.

    True. I concede.
  • Hey, I'm not saying he'd be a bad date, but in the world of eccentric athletes he's rather pedestrian.

Yeah, Cesc is really not interesting.

    1. He doesn't have a sex tape.
    2. Didn't invite a bunch of hookers over to party with him and his teammates.
    3. Hasn't cheated on his girlfriend/wife with 8 different women.

    4. Moved out of his parent's home and into a new country at 15.
    5. Grew up in Barcelona, has family in Barcelona, was schooled in Barcelona, etc, and his though that said Barcelona is knocking on the door, he still plays for Arsenal through some kind of fierce loyalty to Wenger.
    6. At 20, has people speculating on him to captain one of the Big Four.
    7. Cannot decide what to do with his hair and actually had a mullet once. Plus a headband.

Really, the only thing "uninteresting" about Cesc is that he seems like a nice enough guy, and we all know that we like 'em with egos the size of Texas.
