Chelsea not signing strikers, else Carlo will get naked

By: Rob | December 26th, 2009

Despite being constantly linked with all kinds of strikers, Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea will definitely not be signing a striker in the January Transfer window. And to prove he’s not lying, he’s promised he’ll run naked in the Stamford Bridge snow if he goes back on his word.

There’s no way I will sign a new striker and will do a forfeit if I do. For sure, I would even run around naked in the snow, yes. I have trust in Borini and Sturridge. We don’t need to sign another.”

But does anyone really want to see naked Carlo? Except maybe Sergio Aguero, who recently has been most linked with a move to the Bridge.

He might have to go back on that yet, mind. Chelsea couldn’t score today even with Didier Drogba (who is shortly packing his bags for the African Cup of Nations) against a surprisingly in form Birmingham City.

The game had a bit of controversy, Birmingham having two goals chalked off (at least one in very suspect circumstances) but Chelsea rattled the crossbar, and missed a few sitters.

The ban is being appealed, and while it's being appealed Chelsea can make transfers. Roman Romeo your comment may need some explaining. I do not understand how not signing a striker and prefering youth players gets a coach fired. This is not Fifa where the youth players have terrible OVR and you just buy players. I do not know what difference you see in the EPL than in the Serie A. Also your grammar is incomprehensible: e.g I not know that what he think for sign new player. What does that mean?

If Carlos will not sign Arguero, he will sack like Scolari. This is premier league, not Italy league. I not know that what he think for sign new player. I'm sure that if he won't sign Arguero, he must leave from Stamford as soon.
