Classic Goals: Philippe Albert v Manchester United

By: Martha | January 30th, 2008

I got an email from a friend earlier this week telling me he’s too young to know anything about Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle, but that Keegan seems “like a nice guy.” After I stopped feeling horribly old, I sent him this clip of the glory days — it’s one to which I return frequently, in a bid to escape from the current NUFC reality. For the first 4:15, you think David Ginola’s goal will be the standout of the match, but then Albert steps up and … Well, as the announcer says “Oooooooh.”
