Diddy is excited to take Wayne Rooney out on the town

There is so many things wrong with this headline. For one, we have no idea if Sean Combs is still Puff Daddy, P Diddy or simply Diddy. It is just too hard to keep up with these things and follow the Romanian football leagues.

But we do know that the idea of Diddy hosting the Manchester United forward for a weekend of debauchery in New York City can only be a disaster waiting to happen, unless you are a headline writer for the tabloids.

Rooney won the right to hang with the musician (does he still make music?) at a charity auction held by the Beckhams before the World Cup. What does Diddy have planned for the 20-year-old author/prostitute chaser and his significant other?

“I’ll close down MAcy’s and Barney’s so his lovely lady can go shopping and Wayne can help me pick some girls for some of the videos I’m working on,” says Diddy. “Wayne and I will have a blast and it’ll be a non-stop party with lots of sexy looking ladies around. It’s OK to look! But he’s more excited about trying the GBP1,000 burger at Glitterati.”

And you thought they would spend the weekend taking in New York’s fine art galleries and going to a Broadway show….
