Fashion Faux Pas: This Means War

Everton has enjoyed pushing buttons with their kits. Blue ones, pink ones, terrible ones. The standard is nice, really. Simple, classic. No frills.

This is not a no frills goalkeeper shirt. One can only imagine the idea is to make Tim Howard & Co. seem invisible to the opposition, thus the ball will go directly to the keeper more often than it would otherwise. The inclusion of face paint will confirm this undoubtedly infallible theory. The inclusion of hot pink shorts would dispel it.

Or maybe, since it’ll be an American in camo, they’re searching for oil, thus a City-esque sugar daddy?
