From my point of view man u players seem to get “injured” always at the “right” time and then “recover” earlier than expected….Ser fergie if you dont want your players to play for their countries just say it and dont try to fool the millions that watch football…I just hope King GERRARD gets this “injuries” more often…YOU”LL NEVER WALK ALONE

He might have been the star of euro2004 for *England*, from my point of view the teenage star of euro2004 was another one. Who gets fouled way more than Rooney does by any stats, and commits less fouls. Consider this http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/stats?id=21046&cc=3888
Rooney seems to always commit more fouls than he suffers. Cristiano Ronaldo last season according to their stats suffered a mind boggling 139 fouls, more than twice as much as Rooney. I am not sure if Rooney really is injury prone, whatever that is, but he fouls as much, or more as he gets. Time to heal might be important. And I think the Premiership is needlessly caressessly physical which affects ALL players, not just England´s pride and joy.
