John Painstil Caught Cheating

The Premier League might think YouTube is the enemy, but this bit of fakery by Fulham’s John Paintsil begs to differ. Stoke’s Ricardo Fuller might be a compatriot of Jamaican 100 metre world record holder Usain Bolt, and pretty pacy himself, but even he’s not quick enough to pull off this supposed imaginary headbutt.

Now thanks to the magic of YouTube and the not-so-much magic of someone pointing their camera at the telly, Paintsil’s cheating can be shared with everyone. The ref took no action at the time, but I suspect Painstil might be getting a letter from the FA.

“Fine and a ban please,” says Rob at Off the Post, and I second that.
