Meet Our Club/Team Blogs: The EPL
By: Laurie | January 10th, 2009
As I’m sure you’ve noticed, The Offside has a huge number of club/team blogs, each of them ably manned (or womanned) by people who volunteer their time to share their love for their club. Today I’d like to introduce you to some of our EPL blogs, with links to some of the more recent updates:
First, we’ve got the EPL Main Page, ably run by Rob. Recent posts:
•Is Rafa About to Go Keegan on Us?
•Some news about Ronaldo’s car smash, and
•Rumours about EPL players and The White Stuff. And we’re not talking Christmas ski trips.
And now the individual club blogs:
- Taylor at our Manchester United blog gives us a ManU-Chelsea preview. And also some thoughts on Rafa Benitez’s anti-ManU rant.
- Not to be outdone, Jack at our Chelsea blog has some ManU-Chelsea pregame thoughts and rants to share. And he also has some thoughts on whether Abramovich is really planning to sell.
- Travis at the Arsenal blog gives us a thread on the Bolton game, and some thoughts on the Arsenal injury bug.
- Our Man City blog is handled by J, who gives us some transfer updates (here and here) and current news about this weekend’s match postponement.
- In our Newcastle blog, also run by J, we’ve got the Newcastle v. West Ham match recap. (Or: Hooray for Andy Carroll!)
- Stephen at the Sunderland blog is bowing down to worship Kenwyne Jones, saver of the point, in his Middlesbrough-Sunderland post-match report.
- And 21 at the Everton blog has a match preview for the Hull City game. And mark your calendars! The date’s been set for the all-important FA Cup match against Liverpool.
- Chris at the Aston Villa blog has the preview for the Villa-West Brom match, and also some thoughts on why he’s not blogging the transfer window.
- Jimmy at Blackburn Offside has video highlights from the Blyth game.
- Shaun at Wigan Offside is thinking that Steve Bruce should surely be Manager of the Month.
- TimmyG at the Fulham blog has some newsy bits, including the fact that Fulham is currently leading in the Fair Play standings. And also some thoughts on the recent FA Cup win.
- Drew at Tottenham Offside has a poll: Downing or N’Zogbia? And some raves about the Burnley match.
- Matt at Hull City Offside has a recap of 2008. (Or: First time in the top flight in 104 years!)
- Kai at Liverpool Offside talks about the nil-nil at Stoke City. In happier news, there’s also a review of the FA Cup win over Preston. And news on why Emiliano Insua will miss 5 matches.
- Also be sure to check out Bolton Offside, currently manned by Mark.
And it’s looking like we could use some help with these blogs:
West Ham Offside,
West Brom Albion Offside,
Stoke City Offside,
Middlesbrough Offside and
Portsmouth Offside.
