Newcastle’s Newest Striker is a Prince

Times sure are tough in northeast England. Newcastle United is sitting at the bottom of the Premiership table and apparently are so desperate to find a quality goal scorer that they invited the Prince of Wales to St. James Park for a tryout. To his credit, Prince Charles has scored as many goals as Michael Owen this season, but if the Magpies are looking for a political force up front they’d be better served recruiting a leader from South America. By the way, the kids in the background deserve a lot of credit for not breaking out in laughter while watching a man in a business suit kick a ball with his eyes closed. May the Queen live forever.
