One Aston Villa Fan’s email to Gareth Barry…

The unsavoury saga of Gareth Barry’s exit from Aston Villa rumbles on. Today, Martin O’Neill countered Barry’s complaints about his manager not trying to persuade him to stay by revealing that the player demanded a move as early as June. O’Neill’s basic argument is why negotiate with a player who wants out?

Fair policy I say, and very Brian Clough in it’s simplicity.
