Just as Matt said, if gooners want Eboue gone, then they should boo, but the likelihood of throwing a right back(or winger)away when you have little cover for said positions are skint. Soooo, booing just took his confidence. For fans as quiet as those at the Emirates, it’s a shame to see them finally unite and get vocal towards one of the own.

don’t we get heck from our boss for doing a lousy job? and for what kind of pay? anything close to what these athletes
earn? I highly doubt it.
The mistakes that he made, were utterly ridiculous and for
a player playing in the Premiership absolutely inexcusable.
As a supporter I was baffled by his total lack of attention and incompetence, perhaps he had drawn a total blank, I have no idea what was he thinking. what do we know of their personal lives? But back to the booing issue I’m totally for it. They do get all the adulations when they play well right? In defense of the fans who pay outrageous sums of hard earned money they were quite patient, until the third consecutive blind give away in the dying minutes to be loudly heard.
I also would like to indicate that I have no idea was Wigan playing Rugby or Football?
They chopped and dished out some very nasty tackles, which unfortunately Arsenal couldn’t return the favor due to their inadequate bench. The foul on Nasri resulting in him leaving the field should have been a red card.
I think that would be a great rule in Football and perhaps players with less talent and more brute force would think twice before committing a career ending tackle.

Booh Wenger and the board they to blame for not spending money. Eboue is not to blame he is not great but made worse was not fully it and played out of position – afc desperately need to buy a striker, centre back and a midfielder

Felt kinda bad for Eboue and thought the fans should have cut hi some slack. But I do understand why Wenger took him off. He was a complete liability and was just ready do make the fatal mistake that would hand Wigan the tying goal

But I do think you make a good point Rob about the massive pay cheque and pampered life. It might be time to suck it up.

They were right to boo him. He was rubbish. At the end of the day you pay X pounds to go and watch your team play, and footballers have quite an easy life really. The best ones will rise above it anyway.

If Arsenal fans want to do their part to ensure Eboue is never seen on the pitch again, then they should boo. If booing is meant to hold Eboue accountable to the fans, then fans should accept that their booing might have consequences. I would think Arsenal fans are savvy enough to know this.

im not for booing any player who fights for the club..and many fans mistake fights for playing well…unless a player has blatently disrespected the club, for instance as a roma fan, Emerson did..they deserve the hassle. Its not as if you can say they played bad but are committed so they deserve a little bit of booing. You either deserve it or not, and i think its deserved when a player disrespects the club. No player goes out there with the intention of having a stinker, its as bad for him as for the club. Still this isnt psychology, its football..and it can be a mean world..so Eboue has to deal with it.
