Bolton v Liverpool, 12:45
Steven Gerrard’s right foot vs Jussi Jaaskelainen’s incredible octopus impression. Quite a contest, but Bolton’s two match winning streak ends here. And Rafa Benitez will insist on using the word “jes” in his post-match interview.
Odds: Bolton 5-1, Draw 13-5, Liverpool 8-13
Prediction: 0-1
Arsenal v Aston Villa, 15:00
John Carew has a hip problem, possibly lap-dancer related. Arsenal’s defenders breathe a deep sigh of relief. But Villa’s so-so defence will struggle against Arsenal’s attack.
Odds: Arsenal 8-15, Draw 11-4, Aston Villa 6-1
Prediction: 3-2
Blackburn v Sunderland, 15:00
Sunderland are all the way down in 19th with 12 points, while Blackburn are 15th with 13 points. So it might not sound that exciting, but there’s plenty at stake.
Odds: Blackburn 11-10, Draw 23-10, Sunderland 5-2
Prediction: 2-1
Fulham v Tottenham, 15:00
Spurs are apparently unbeatable under Harry Redknapp, but that has to end at some point. And – because life is unfair – it will probably end here.
Odds: Fulham 23-10, Draw 23-10, Spurs 6-5
Prediction: 1-0
Man Utd v Stoke, 15:00
Rooney has a slight chest infection (too many ciggies?) but could play (pre-match nicotine patch?). Long throw or not, this is a mismatch.
Odds: Man Utd 1–7, Draw 6-1, Stoke 22-1
Prediction: 3-0
Newcastle v Wigan, 15:00
Here’s everything you need to know about this game:

Odds: Newcastle evens, Draw 12-5, Wigan 11-4
Prediction: 2-1
West Ham v Portsmouth, 15:00
Whoever thought we’d see Gianfranco Zola vs Tony Adams as Premier League managers. Not me. Adams’ offer to settle the game by having the two men contesting a header was rejected, as was Zola’s counter offer to see who could do most keepy-ups.
Odds: West Ham 6-4, Draw 23-10, Portsmouth 9-5
Prediction: 1-1
West Brom v Chelsea, 17:30
This will be a full house, with West Brom fans eager to benefit from Didier Drogba’s new wealth distribution policy. But the game will be a mismatch.
Odds: West Brom 9-1, Draw 15-4, Chelsea 1-3
Prediction: 0-3
Sunday, 16 November 2008
Everton v Middlesbrough, 13:30
Both teams are unbeaten in four games. But only one of them has Louis Saha, who at time of writing is not injured. If he can keep that up until at least quarter past three on Sunday, then Everton will win.
Odds: Everton 10-11, Draw 12-5, ‘Boro 3-1
Prediction: 2-0
Hull v Man City, 16:00
Alright Hull, this is it. Are you any good or not? That great start to the season has given way to a three match losing streak. Man City will be without suspended captain Richard Dunne, but that might actually be a good thing since he’s slowly turning into Titus Bramble.
Odds: Hull 19-10, Draw 23-10, Man City 7-5
Prediction: 0-2

Fail, Daryl. Spurs will not lose. We shall never lose ever again.
