Robbie Keane’s Pixie Dance

By: Laurie | March 3rd, 2008

This is Robbie Keane after Tottenham’s shock victory over Chelsea in the Carling Cup final.

I personally think it should be a job requirement for every player to do this or a similar dance after big victories.

The world would be a better place.

(Thanks to 101 Great Goals for the find.)

I love how quickly Alan Hutton gets out of the shot. Not anxious to dance on TV, I guess.

I’m all for more silly celebratory dances in soccer. And in life in general, really.

The hat is really what makes it. Without the hat it wouldn’t be nearly as special. haha. Tottenham needs to win more merely so we can have more of Pixie Robbie Keane!

And would it be too much to ask to have the pixie music piped into the stadium after a goal to put the players in the proper pixie spirit? Maybe they could at least play it on Gol TV?

I think Ray Hudson’s voice and that music are clearly destined to meet each other at some point.

St. Pat’s is around the corner. Keane is just getting his Irish on.

I’ve had a very long day, and I’ve found myself coming back to watch this video about five times. I think I’m going to save it for cheer-me-up purposes for the rest of my life.
