Robbie Savage wants you to watch this again

Said Blackburn Rovers Robbie Savage of the festivities in the above video: “I just went and pressurised the ball. As he was tripping over, I tried to win the ball, then he kicked me. He definitely made contact and if people think I went down easily, they should watch it again on TV. I have gone past all those old days of feigning injury and I said to the referee he shouldn’t send him off so I have nothing really to regret. I can’t believe some of them said I should have been sent off. Why should I have been sent off?”

After honoring Savage’s request and pressurizing my brain by watching the play again, all I can say is that I am surprised that he is still standing and is still able to talk. For the 2 seconds when he went down like he was shot by a sniper, I was seriously concerned about his health. I’m not saying he went down easily, but, well, I am saying he went down about as easily as his team did on Saturday, losing to Arsenal 2-0.
