Robinho Not Coming, But Chelsea Selling Robinho Shirts Anyway

By: Daryl | August 29th, 2008

According to Real Madrid, Robinho is going nowhere, and that includes Chelsea. Think it’s safe to say that Real’s failure to sign David Villa from Valencia has a lot to do with it.

Real won’t let Robinho go unless they have a suitable replacement. And so if Robinho fails to arrive at Stamford Bridge, then Chelsea could be left slightly embarrassed. Because they’ve already been selling Robinho Chelsea shirts on the club website.

See below:

I love the big “Number TBC”, as if that was the only detail left to be ironed out in Robinho’s transfer.

Seems someone was working on the Chelsea Robinho shirt and accidentally let it get onto the Chelsea website. We shouldn’t be too hard on the Blues, because I’m sure all clubs do that. It’s just that most of them hold back on showing the public until the signing actually happens.

Wonder if any Chelsea fans bought one?

Brilliant. Reminds me of the whole David Suazo saga between Milan and Inter last summer. For a while, there was a headline on the official Milan site saying "Official Note: Suazo signs for Milan" and an article with pictures chronicling Suazo's career.

And then he signed for Inter later that day. Awkward much?

    yea this site is horrible

Its not confirmed that Robinho is'nt coming, and also the Robinho shirts are now off the website, think you've got your timeline a bit wrong. Oh by the way your site sucks.
