Roman Pavlyuchenko Stuns Liverpool

Regular readers will know that my predictions so far have been less than successful. So when I predicted a 2-1 win for Spurs over Liverpool this weekend, it should have guaranteed a Reds win. And when Dirk Kuyt put Liverpool ahead in the third minute, it looked even more likely.

But Spurs under Harry Redknapp = drama. So a Jamie Carragher own goal levelled things in the 68th minute and then Russian striker/politician Roman Pavlyuchenko popped up in the 91st (video above) to give Spurs a 2-1 win and finally lift them off the bottom of the table. His constituents will be very proud.

  Liverpool have been ‘lucky’ all season with their late winners and the lucky winner at Chelsea last week. ‘Bout time the worm turned….. hopefully the Scum will now be on the decline!!!
