Samir Nasri Sinks Man Utd

By: Daryl | November 8th, 2008

Arsenal re-introduced themselves to the Premier League title race today by beating Man Utd 2-1 at the Emirates. Two super strikes from young Samir Nasri (one deflected, the other clean as a whistle) were the difference, with Utd getting a not very consoling consolation goal through Rafael Da Silva.

If Aston Villa can beat Middlesbrough tomorrow, then they’ll knock Utd out of the top four.

With the Rafael goal, did anyone else think “Bloody hell, Gary Neville can’t do *that*”

As it happens, Rob, I saw Rafael actually have a good game and thought, “Bloody hell, Gary Neville can’t do *that*”.

I don’t think Gary Neville is good enough to play for any premiership team anymore, to be honest.

And Raymond Domenech is having sleepless nights as he tries to decide who not to call up for the Uruguay game.

“Uh…Flo? Florent Malouda? You wanted to take international week off anyway, right?”
