There are so many subtleties they are easy to miss without multiple viewings. For instance, in one episode Jose gives what we Americans consider the "peace sign" -- but in England means something else entirely depending upon which way you turn your hand. Jose is very nice to "Mr. Alex" from Manchester (who always seems to be eating when he calls), but so condescending to "Arsene" from London amid comments about the Voyeur's "empty trophy cabinet." And Sven . . . Jose tells a caller to be respectful to Sven because he is a Champion, but then immediately tells Sven to shut up. The creator is a genius!
