The Arshavin Files: “He Double Like Me.”

This man is a gift from the gods to an undeserving people. We as football fans do not deserve him. We do not deserve him in his native language, and we certainly do not deserve him stumbling through the learning stages of a new one.

But we have been chosen, and we must not take him for granted.

Andrei Arshavin opened his mouth again. He opened his mouth and it’s goddamn brilliant.

Highlights include:

• The inability to get through the thought of asking Sol Campbell to stand on a chair and sing.
• Andriy believes his taste in music is the worst. Because he doesn’t have an iPod.

  Obviously owning an iPod gives one good taste in music.

• The sheepishness of not wanting to tell who dominates the shower – simply because he knows.

Suddenly John Terry’s [alleged] philanderings seems the least of problems in a Premiership locker room.
