The National Football League is hungry for a global audience. Sports fans in England prefer the football where men in shorts kick a ball over the one where men in pads pound the snot out of each other. What can the NFL do to turn Portsmouth fans into Pointy Ball fans? Deploy the league’s ace in the hole: the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad. Somewhere in the shopping mall today, many a WAG is feeling threatened, while fans of athelete sex tapes are giddy with anticipation.
