As we have seen with those who can throw the ball forever, the throw-in can be a pretty nifty weapon on the pitch. But sometimes it can come back to bite you in the arse. The video below featuring Aston Villa’s Olof Mellberg is one of those arse biting examples.

    You technically that goal should not have stood as a throwin is an indirect and the keeper never touched the ball.

    A guy on my college team could huck the ball a mile and he actually threw it into the net on a keeper but the goal did not stand since no one touched it.
