What’s Bugging Jose Mourinho Now?

By: Bob | September 14th, 2006

sfnmou01.jpgIf there is one person on the planet who probably does not need to be spied upon it is Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. The Special One has never shied away from a microphone and we’re fairly certain that the words “no comment” are not part of his working vocabulary.

Whether Mourinho was the target of espionage remains to be seen, but a bugging device has been discovered at the London restaurant where he often breaks bread and where he supposedly met with Ashley Cole while wooing him away from Arsenal. The small recording device was also found next to a table where a number of Chelsea players dined a few days before it was discovered.

Who could possibly be spying on Mourinho? Well, it could be Arsene or maybe Frank Rijkaard or maybe William Gallas or Raymond Domenech…..

Detectives could be kept very busy investigating all of The Godfather’s enemies.

My brain has apparently blocked out the existence of William Gallas entirely. If only it could do the same with Ashley Cole.
  • yeah Bob

    Know what you mean!?!
  • Has anyone considered that Mourinho placed the bugging device to in order to generate attention and publicity. Karl Rove did something similar in Texas whereby he bugged his own office and then blamed his political opponent for "spying on him".
  • Who is 'William Gallis?' Just wondering Bob LOL

Perhaps Jose was hiding in the laundry basket?

I recently described a movie as "moving from plod line to plod line."

Fortunately, being an MSM lackey, I had an editor who caught it.....

Indeed, have been reading Mr. Gaddis a bit these days and have to wonder if Mr. Gallas would appreciate being associated with him. Cheers for the correction. More mistakes to come....

Surely the American novelist William Gaddis has no part in this.

William *Gallas*, on the other hand, seems a little brutish for espionage; more like a nightclub bouncer (though we shall miss him in SW6).

A fun coincidence of names that Mr. Gaddis would appreciate.
