Leicester’s Players go down the Toilet

scrbbing-toilet.jpgFootball clubs around the world are busy preparing for their upcoming seasons. Some are on tours of Asia where they are stretching their legs in between marketing appearances. Others are taking part in mini-tournaments against other big name clubs. And yet others are right at home engaging in the usual preseason routine of cleaning their stadiums.

Leicester manager Martin Allen has his troops working hard ahead of their English Football League Championship campaign.

“They have been in all the different parts of the ground, from IT, security, the shop, ticket office, maintenance – and cleaning out the toilets,” Allen said. “This old thing about footballers being rich and famous and all different to you and me, I don’t agree with that.

“They are talented people, but I think if they are not prepared to do these jobs I don’t really like them.”

Man that Allen is a tough one. Back in the day players used to have to run until they passed out but that can hardly compare to cleaning the toilets at a football ground. Have you seen some of those troughs? They can be rather nasty.

Here’s some EXCLUSIVE footage of Leicester’s preseason training. Who says diving shouldn’t be part of football?
