She’s Free to Show her Boobs at Soccer Games Again

When you think of a hardcore hooligan banned from attending football matches and international travel, your mind naturally pictures a 47-year-old mother flashing her boobs. Ok, maybe not, but the hooligan labeled was slapped on one 47-year-old mother after she ran onto the pitch topless during a match between MK Dons and Tranmere in 2005.
After a couple years of having to surrender her passport every time England played abroad and having to associate with real life hoolies, Bev Heyward is free to show the football world her rack once again.
“I’ve had to declare on job applications that I’m a criminal, when all I did was take my top off and the match wasn’t even stopped.
“I don’t know why I did it, I wasn’t even into football then.”
District Judge Kevin English agreed to drop the ban last week.
At the time, her topless cameo was credited with turning the game around for the Dons, who avoided relegation with a 2-1 victory. Bev, now living in Birkenhead, said: “I gave them a boost.
“Once something has been taken away from you, you’ve an overwhelming desire to get it back, so I’ve been avidly following the Dons recently. Now I’m a real football fan.”
It always brings a tear to one’s eyes reading happy endings to stories involving middle age women streaking at football matches.
