fistful-of-money.jpgIt is that time of the year again when we break out the abacus and start calculating the net worth of footballers and football owners in England. Actually, it is FourFourTwo that does the math, a task that is becoming increasingly complex as the influence of money is making the rich even richer.

We’ll start with the poorer guys from the Football Rich List Top 100. These are the players. There are 14 of them on the list with the top guy, David Beckham, coming in as the 45th richest person in English football. Mind you, Beckham is far from struggling. His net worth is a mere £112m. Congrats are also in order for Didier Drogba and Cristiano Ronaldo, the only two new players to join the rich boy’s club.
