“I Paid 250 Pounds for this???”

Another game, another chance for Portsmouth keeper David James to show off his £250 Bold and Beautiful look. While it might be hard to imagine, James’ hair was not the ugliest thing on the pitch. That dubious distinction belongs to the play of his team’s opponent, Liverpool, who dominated the play but only could manage a 0-0 draw at home Wednesday and now are about as likely to win the Premiership as you and I. Liverpool can take pride in knowing they did extend their unbeaten league record at Anfield to 24 games, but if there is a more puzzling and inconsistent team out there than Liverpool and not named Arsenal, I’d like to buy them a free haircut.
