Tip of that hat to Atlas Offside and Mexico WCB’s Alan for pointing out this goal in the comments under Ragnar Sigurdsson’s long ranger yesterday.

It’s Luis Ángel Landín scoring for Cruz Azul in their 1-1 Mexican Primera draw with Morelia. The Informador match report calls it un golazo de “escorpión” and you’ll hear no arguments from me.

  Amazing! I actually didn’t see it until the replay. I remember Rafael van der Vaart scoring a similar goal for Ajax or Holland a few years ago.
