Colorado Rapids to Play at Penis Park

I’m not sure who made the decision about the naming rights for the Colorado Rapids new stadium, but I have a sinking suspicion it was done by a group of 9-year-old boys playing video games and making farts jokes. The MLS team has announced that they will be playing their games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Contrary to my initial reaction, the name comes from a sports retailer who forked over $40 million for the 20-year naming rights and is not, in fact, a tribute to Clint Mathis. One can only hope that Colorado fans embrace the name and show proper support for their club when they play hard at the Dick.

  That still doesn’t rival the potential brilliance that was the Arizona Cardinals’ Pink Taco Stadium (before the deal was axed and it became The University of Arizona Stadium or something close to that)…
